COVID POLICY UPDATES - 5/17/21

AS ALWAYS, WE RECOMMEND THAT EVERYONE FOLLOWS THE CDC GUIDELINES. 

 

As a result of both local counties and state wide COVID policy changes in the recent weeks, we have updated our COVID protocols for students and staff at Southern. Please review our updated COVID guidelines which come into effect May 17, 2021. 

 

    ⁃    Masks will be optional for both students and staff. 

    ⁃    We will no longer be taking temperatures on arrival or health screening students.

    ⁃    Studio cleaning protocols will continue and hand sanitizer/ hand washing will remain in effect. 

    ⁃    Studio will remain open to students and staff only. Family members and guests will not be permitted inside the studio building. The lobby will remain closed. 

    ⁃    We will continue to offer our class schedule via ZOOM throughout the end of May. Starting June 1st only private lessons will be available via ZOOM. 

 

These changes for our studio take effect today, Monday, May 17th and will remain in place until further notice. 

 

We are very excited about this step towards a more “normal” studio experience for the students and staff. We very much appreciate everyone's efforts to follow the health protocols over the past months. Even with this change, we encourage everyone to remain vigilant and to exercise health practices that have been shown effective in limiting the spread of any illness.
